Seven Worlds
Septemundos is by far the most expansive project in my career to date. A large-scale, multi-movement, hybrid orchestral work, the album conveys through music seven sweeping narratives I've wanted to tell since childhood.
The Greek World
The gods of Ancient Greece are nearly destroyed by a reawakened and vengeful Ouranos. With the world in danger of obliberation, a young demigod leads the armies of men against the primordial deity and his many monsters.
The Tribal World
In the deep wilderness of an exotic planet, a small tribe begins to make a name for itself amidst several warring powers. Conflict ensues, and it falls to the chief of the tribe to inspire his people to victory.
The Incorporeal World
A group of teens finds itself in a strange but beautiful realm threatened by dark forces. Moved to help, the trio embarks on an action-packed adventure through all manner of exotic environments, enemies, and trippy physics.
The Heroic World
A metallurgist and his brother are amongst a number of people struck by a freak solar flare and given supernatural abilities. Finding themselves on opposite sides of an ideological divide, the brothers-turned-foes eventually lead their allies to all-out war.
The Stellar World
Space, normally a haven for science and discovery, becomes a warzone as alien forces appear and attempt to raze the Earth. Earth's people respond with a force of their own, though not before massive casualties occur.
The Tyrannical World
A once-great nation has succumbed to oppression and injustice and plans to reshape the world to its evil designs. Desperate to thwart this, a group of escaped renegades builds the recently colonized continent of Antarctica into a country capable of preserving freedom.
The Unknown World
Earth has unified in the name of progress, and progress reaches its pinnacle once scientists unlock interdimensional travel. Though a great period of exploration ensues, the resulting unraveling of time and space forces mankind to curb its vanity.
