Septemundos is by far the most expansive project in my career to date. A large-scale, multi-movement, hybrid orchestral work, the album conveys through music seven sweeping narratives I've wanted to tell since childhood.
From self-assigned challenges to scoring competitions to my first music for a feature film, I have engaged in a variety of scoring projects over the years.
The bulk of my musical output and the core of my passion for music lies in the power of the orchestra. As flexible as it is large, the orchestra provides a foundation for all manner of compositions, including various hybrid and textural works.
Chamber works provide an entirely different dimension to music - the details of the instruments provide an intimacy to the sound that demands more careful attention to musical elements. The more manageable size also allows for more experimental exploits.
A significant portion of my music has been written in groups that become albums. These include film scores, soundtrack concepts, and style-based compilations.
