This is the theme that I envision of myself. I love repitition, so I purposefully made the piece to repeat the three-note motif over and over again.

This is the theme of a movie idea based on a book series I haven't written yet. The series, Olympians on Earth, takes place in Ancient Greece, so this is my take on the atmosphere of the times. When I think of the Greeks, I think of harps and tambourines, so I made sure to incorporate those instruments into the piece. The opening brass blast is what I have come to call the 'gods motif'.

This is the theme of a movie idea based on a book series I haven't written yet. The series, World of Helix, takes place in an unsettled land full of tribes fighting each other for complete territorial control. As such, I wanted the theme to have a tribal feeling to it, but also a feeling of power and glory. Thus, I made extensive use of percussion, notably toms and bongos, as well as spurts of triumphant fanfares. The two-note French horn phrase that occurs throughout the piece represents a horn blowing off in the distance.

This is the theme of a movie idea based on a book series I haven't written yet. The series, Algalarth, takes place in a strange dimension with crazy physics and weird environments, so I wanted to create some mysterious ambiance and nuance in my piece. I found that slightly dissonant chords played by the first and second violins throughout the theme achieve the desired effect, as well as subtle organ chords. The four-note pattern repeated by various woodwinds throughout the piece is what I have come to call the 'Algalarth motif'.

This is the theme of a movie idea based on a book series I haven't written yet. The series, Foes Gathering - Heroes Rallying, takes place in a near-future America where a number of people have gotten superpowers, so this is the heroic tune I came up with for the good guys. Brass takes center stage for the heroes while strings play to the rallying cry heard in the middle of the piece. The tune that kicks in close to the beginning is my 'heroes theme' and comes from my very first composition.

This is the theme of a movie idea based on a book series I haven't written yet. The series, Strike Force 9, centers on the formation of a team capable of combating alien invaders in space. I wanted to create a theme worthy of the galactic heroes, thus the 'defense motif' that dominates most of the piece. The four-note tune played by the strings in the beginning is the 'invader motif'. And the nuanced melody at the end was derived from "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star" for some good irony.

This is the theme of a movie idea based on a book series I haven't written yet. The series, The Global Wars, documents the fall of a former world superpower and the rise of a new one. The first part of the piece is the 'global war' motif, meant to evoke dread of death and destruction. The second part is the 'corrupt flag motif', derived from the actual national anthem of the nation that dies. And the third part is the 'nuclear motif', which I wrote to capture the excited terror that comes with the thought of nuclear war.

This is the theme of a movie idea based on a book series I haven't written yet. The series, The 27 Dimensions, is the tale of the discovery of 26 other universes and their exploration by us. I wanted the piece to reflect the futuristic, pioneering nature of the series, as well as the thrill of teleportation to somewhere exciting and new. I settled on 6/4 time and a predominantly major chord pattern to achieve this mood.

This is the theme of an album about a journey. The opening third of the piece is simple like the idea that sparks a journey. The middle third of the piece is adventurous like the undertaking of the journey itself. And the final third of the piece is reflective like one would be after the journey has ended. What is your journey? Is it physical? Emotional? Metaphorical? This piece and its album are intended to ask this question of you while you listen.

This is the unofficial theme I came up with to complement the popular Minecraft series started by Tom Cassel and Tucker Boner and later joined by Jordan Maron and Sonja Reid. The piece begins with a reimagination of the theme composed by Modestep, which I interpret as Dianite's theme, and gradually transitions into an all-original segment representing Mianite. I chose 7/8 time to parallel the off-balance, volatile nature of the World of Mianite.

This is the unofficial theme I came up with to complement the original Survival Games video of CaptainSparklez. Overall, I wanted the piece to convey the drive to survive, while at the same time create an atmosphere of utter loneliness. The tonic-to-subtonic "survival motif', an unresolved sound, is frequently implemented to characterize the unknown nature of being thrown into an arena for a fight to the death.

This is the unofficial theme I came up with to complement CaptainSparklez's Fallen Kingdom Tetralogy. The opening trumpet melody is the king’s theme, majestic and somewhat sorrowful much like the king’s story. The following guitar tune is the village theme, gentle and peaceful, albeit a touch sad, which conveys the plight of the king’s domain. Soon after, brass fanfare and rhythmic accompaniment tell of the king’s son’s confidence and courage in the face of adversity. Then comes another guitar melody, this time the theme of the hero’s quest to find his father. The rest of the piece is what I like to call the ‘despair motif.’

This is a variation of the theme that I envision of myself. Taking a much darker (and definitely more Dunkirk-like) turn from the original piece, this one focuses still more on the idea of unceasing repitition. Elements from the original are there, but I specifically wrote this variation to have more bass and more percussion.
